Please Remember
Our ultrasound and gender determination services are NOT to take the place of your anatomic scan at your doctor’s office. We do not specifically look for abnormalities nor do we provide any kind of fetal measurements; however, we will contact your doctor if we notice something alarming on an ultrasound.
Also, please understand that we can not guarantee that baby's in the womb will cooperate by facing the camera or being in a position for us to determine gender or obtain quality images, but we will definitely do everything within our power to make sure that you get what you paid for. If baby does not cooperate on the day of your appointment, at the discretion of the technician, we will schedule you for another appointment, free of charge!
Ultrasounds
Ultrasounds are in fact safe. Studies have shown that ultrasounds do not cause any harm to the baby. The radar emits soundwaves into the body and then listens for a return echo; thus, generating an image of your baby.
Recommendations
OhBaby! Imaging recommends our clients drink 32oz. of fluids daily for ONE WEEK prior to your scheduled appointment (Note: This is not because we need your bladder to be full). More fluid around your baby produces better quality images.
The best time to come in for a 3D/4D/HD Ultrasound is around 26-32 weeks. While good images can be obtained earlier, 26-32 weeks will be the optimum time. Your baby will start to accumulate fat under skin, thus producing images closely resembling what the baby will look like at birth. Also, anything after 32 weeks, baby may be restricted and not able to move into an ideal position for imaging. We will try our best to work with mom and baby and if necessary will allow another session for a chance to capture better pictures.
Guest Policy
Siblings (all ages), Family, and Friends are welcome! Our ultrasound room comfortably fits 4 additional guests, but there is no limit. We also offer free online live stream for anyone who isn't able to attened.
Shy Baby Policy
If we are not able to capture any photos of baby, at the technician's discretion, we will reschedule for a ShyBaby appointment. You will be able to come back for another session free of charge, up to 2 times.
